i hear ya, b-real. i checked out the netvibes thing. i get it. very cool. love the sign in from any terminal to have your stuff... a good friend of mine was like, "wouldn't it me great to be able to log in to any computer anywhere and have your bookmarks there? why can't they do that?" and lo, they can. problem? making shite like that work for the novice is not simple, but it looks great. for the moment, very, very unsafe for anyone who knows what they're doing. and, bottom line, universal access and accessibilty will always be achieved through simplicity. VIVA SIMPLICITY! i know advanced/complex stuff can look really cool, but man, i love a clean running program. my two cents.

Hey, I resent that. I know I'm not as active as Ms. Vox, or even John, but I am here too... I agree. We should have access to change entries, but not to delete them. I also agree that this "new teechnology" is cool. I think if we give it time, and people like Mr. Kins have a chance to tweak and play with it, it will become more user friendly and accessable, as is the way with most technology. OR, it will change completely because some genious comes up with a better way to implement it. So...get on that, would ya?

ya so, i'm a nerd and I read my own posts years after I make them, then respond. So Ajax is a pile of glue with bobby pins in it that is supposed to magically create Word in a browser. In the words of a colleague writing anything of any technical complexity using pure ajax is like 'taking a road trip from seattle to toronto in a tricyle'. Read, it can be done, but man it will be tiring.
